Beta testing for Roll Out is going well, we are getting lots of good feedback from those playing it. We will be looking for another round of testers, so if you're interested, be sure to sign up (or log in if you already have an account), then opt-in to beta testing at your account page.
A good deal more of the artwork has been completed, and the sound effects library is being expanded to make the game feel more immersive. Same goes for music.
The dev tools has been expanded to allow for multiple background music tracks to be specified on a level, and they will be cycled in and out periodically, which helps the levels feel less repetitive. They still need to loop for now though.
While still completely customizable, the pre-set difficulty levels are also being tweaked, and there is now an option to save your difficulty levels. The intention here is to be able to pack difficulty presets and share them on the steam workshop along with other content.
There have been some interesting issues reported, like trees containing gaherable fuel and rocks turning into cotton. They've all been fixed, but it's made for a very memorable experience, and some laughs along the way!
We at Qor Concept just want to also take this moment to thank everyone who has signed up to beta test this game. It's immensely helpful, and we're learning a lot. Both about this game, and ways to improve the beta testing experience.
